Why Did You Start Ms Hair?

We started Ms Hair after noticing an increase in hair loss and traction alopecia amongst our family and friends. After many years of excessive hair styling and poor hair maintenance, many of our loved ones were struggling with thinning hair. This significantly impacted their self-confidence and limited their choice of hairstyles. We couldn’t find any immediate solutions that addressed this problem for women of colour. My family and I decided to take matters into our own hands and create our own products.

We named the company Ms Hair because we wanted our brand to represent a title of respect and independence, which would empower women to identify with the beauty and power of their natural hair.
